Classic Utility ShedÂ with Twin Doors 9' x 12' - Building Plan
This is a most versatile shed to construct. Many building centers offer a shed like this for around $1500, but you can build one yourself with these plans and save hundreds 0f $. This quaint yet simple shed can be a functional addition to any yard, garden or estate, with a multitude of uses. The roomy shed offers 108 square feet of storage space with a peak roof height of 9 feet. The shed is featured with traditional board and batten siding, however there are many other options: plywood, siding, clapboard or tongue and groove to name just a few. The plans include two different configurations for the front, one as shown with twin 28" doors and a ramp for rolling larger farm or garden equipment. The other configuration includes a standard 34" door with side windows. You can cover the roof with cedar shakes, shingles, or a metal roof, whatever you prefer, if you wish to match your home or cottage.
