This Run In Shed was designed for a small farm with a couple of horses or other livestock.
It makes a great shelter in a small paddock.
You can also use the Run In Shed to store lawn equipment and tractors on rural or semi rural properties too. This shed is also perfect for lumber or firewoood storage or feed for animals.
This run in shelter is designed as a mobile unit that can be relocated easily with the use of a tractor or small backhoe within a paddock, another paddock or even another property if trailered.
Relocate the shelter to follow sun and weather patterns through the seasons.
The shelter is constructed on two tapered skids made of either two 8 by 8 posts or one 10 by 10 post available at most building centers.
The mobile run in shelters is designed with a functional low sloped 3:12 roof pitch so moving the shed is not limited to height obstructions such as low tree branches or building overhangs. The low pitch roof has minimal overhangs so moving the shed is easy, even if trailered down the road, with its nominal 9 foot width.
